Horses for Sale - Guidelines

The provision of adverts for Horses for Sale is a Members-Only service, available to paid-up members of the British Hanoverian Horse Society. Horses must be eligible for grading or have BHHS papers. The charge is £10 per horse if you want to use a photograph or free if you want to place a text only advert. Please send cheques made payable to BHHS to the address below.

A small picture of the horse for sale will appear on the index page, which is sorted by the name of the sire. From there will be a link to a full page containing the picture of the horse and the text as provided by the vendor.

Please e-mail the text of the advert (to include name of the horse, date of birth, sire, dam, dam sire, colour/markings, height (or expected height), asking price, results (if any), your contact details (name, address, telephone, e-mail) to katy@whfarm.com.

If you have a picture please e-mail it also to katy@whfarm.com. JPG or GIF formats preferred. If you have not got any digital image please send a good quality paper photo to :

If you have no access to e-mail you can send the text and photo to the address above. If you want any of the material returned please enclosed a SAE.

When the horse has been sold please let us know so that we can take it off the For Sale list. If we have not heard from you within 6 months of the advert being placed we reserve the right to remove the advert from the For Sale list.
